A waiting list will also be maintained onsite the morning of Monday, May 13 starting at 8:00 AM. The workshops will take place at the Renaissance Orlando Resort in the Coral Room.

This workshop is a one-day, hands-on technical workshop facilitated by a qualified Texas Instruments instructor. It is designed to offer a practical introduction to the TMS320C6711 floating-point DSP. This workshop is tailored toward educators planning to use DSP in courses or research. No prior DSP experience is required. It will introduce educators to the following:

• TMS320C6000 DSP overview
• C67x architecture and Code Composer Studio
• Using the C6711 DSP Starter Kit (DSK)
• Utilizing the architecture to achieve advanced features
• Using BIOS to easily build and debug a system

The code-compatible TMS320C6000 DSP platform provides the highest performance floating-point DSPs in the industry that enable new innovations in cost-sensitive applications such as professional and home audio, industrial automation, voice and speech recognition as well as high-end graphics and imaging.
